ASD Announces NEW Sourcing Event !!

Los Angeles, CA (April 15, 2013) — ASD Show announces they are rolling out a new sourcing event alongside their flagship show-ASD Las Vegas, August 4-7, 2013 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event will offer Importers, Distributors, Wholesalers, Designers, and Production Professionals a dedicated sourcing show to meet face-to-face with contract manufacturers & factories from around the globe at the world’s largest consumer-goods show.

SOURCEDIRECT at ASD will showcase manufacturers from top countries such as China, India, Republic of Korea, Taiwan-Republic of China, Africa, and Mexico producing Fashion Accessories, Housewares, Gifts & Toys, Apparel, Holiday and Seasonal merchandise, Souvenirs & Novelties, Consumer Electronics, Bedding & Bath, Health & Beauty products and General merchandise of all types .

The show will run concurrent to ASD Las Vegas so that volume buyers such as larger retailers, importers, distributors, and wholesalers can save money by making that critical first connection to manufacturers while saving on travel costs. “By aligning supply chain leaders in front of the key decision makers to [ASD] a show they already attend, business opportunities are made that weren’t possible before now,” explains Chris McCabe, SVP of Nielsen Expositions. “This offer buyers a cost savings by cutting their travels around the globe to find new products or source new suppliers.”

SOURCEDIRECT came to fruition by listening to how their customers source products. Many larger companies travel overseas many times throughout the year looking for manufacturers to purchase new products. With SOURCEDIRECT, they won’t need to, or at least as much. “The greatest benefit to having SOURCEDIRECT at ASD is convenience. Manufacturers want access to the U.S; our volume buyers want to source new products, from new vendors, SOURCEDIRECT at ASD will bridge that gap. ” The show will encompass the China Brand pavilion, which estimates to have 250 exhibitors as well as 100 exhibitors from other top countries.

The new SOURCEDIRECT Show will be located in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center and will be connected to the ASD but will remain a separate show.
