We know that many North American companies would like to buy products from China.  We also know many Chinese manufacturers would like to sell into the American market.  However, a variety of language and cultural barriers make this very difficult.

The Google chinese language translator is now available in beta. This will certainly make the possibility of a connection much more of a reality.

I have visited countless websites that go into attack mode once opened. They blast me with bells, whistles, flashy things and anything else they can think of to get my attention, really they just end up losing it. I wonder if they have ever pondered the notion that simplicity and clarity lead to good design. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy going to the circus as much as the next guy, however I don’t want to be transported there every time I open a web page.
